What We Do

We first take unwanted and broken computers off your hands through the donation. This keeps them from being thrown into the landfills or possible recycled irresponsibly.

We refurbish any that need to be and install programs given to us by Berkeley Open Infastructure for Network Computing (BOINC). This software makes it possible for our computers to communicate with BOINC to distribute, process, and return workunits to them. Scientists are then able to review the work that has been computed for any discoveries that may have unfolded.

Due to the tremendous amount of energy our cause consumes we use only green energy to perform these tasks therefore reducing our carbon footprint. Our goal is to create our own green energy to utilize for our cause and to eventually provide green energy for others.
